• Ladock Bellls on the Move (34 photos)

  Photos of the Ladock Bells journey to John Taylor's of Loughborough for recasting, retuning and refurbishment.
  The bells were removed from the tower on June 15th and stored in church where they were on display. On the weekend of 5th and 6th July the bells were removed from the church. The 7 smallest bells were loaded onto a trailer and toured around the Upper Fal Parishes area in a convoy of 18 vintage tractors before being transported to Smallridge Bros. for storage before shipping to John Taylor’s on the 7th July 2025.
  All organised by the amazing Jonathan Young, our Tower Captain, and his brilliant team.
  Fundraising is ongoing. Generous donations and a most successful Summer Fete on 28th June, organised by Carey Sharp, is helping towards the eventual final target of £143,000.

  

• Easter 2025 (23 photos)

  Easter 2025 started with an Easter Experience in the church where children and adults alike were invited to explore the last days of Jesus' life. Six stations depicted scenes of that last week and there were activities for everyone at each scene. Before the children broke up for the Easter holidays, Reverend Linda led a special School Eucharist Service attended by all the schoolchildren, teachers and parents.
  On Easter Saturday the church was decorated with beautiful Spring flower arrangements which certainly enhanced a joyous Easter Day Service together with a full congregation.
  A big thank you to everyone who helped to make Easter at Ladock a wonderful Festival.

  

• Christmas 2024 (28 photos)

  This year's Christmas Tree Festival theme was 'Christmas Films'. This included films with a Christmas theme as well as films traditionally shown at Christmas - so quite a wide range. The church looked magnificent decked with brightly decorated film themed Christmas Trees from December 15th to Feast Sunday, 5th January.
  Children of all ages came to church for the Crib Service on December 22nd. A lovely service with enthusiastic Nativity characters taking part and all very excited waiting for Christmas Day to come quickly!

  

• Harvest Festival 2024 (27 photos)

  "All good Gifts around us
  are sent from Heaven above......"
  Ladock Church looked fabulous decorated with gorgeous flower arrangements, maize, a wheat sheaf and all sorts of produce. A delicious 'bring and share' Harvest lunch was heartily enjoyed by one and all!
