Harvest intercessions October 2026 at Ladock Parish Church.
We lift our hearts and minds in prayer as we come together today to celebrate our harvest, in the faith of God the Father, who loves us and knows our every need; In the name of God the son, our advocate with the Father who lives to intercede for us; in the name of the Holy spirit who comes to the aid of our weakness and pleads within our hearts.
Hear us in your mercy, God, Father, son and Holy spirit for the honour and glory of your name.
Lord in thy Mercy—Hear our prayer
We thank you Lord for the beauty and diversity of the world which you have made to be the home and mother of mankind. We thank you for making its hospitality to mankind endless in interest, loveliness, diversity and utility.
Teach us by your creation to know more of you our creator, and rejoicing in you, to be as generous to others as you are to us.
Lord in thy Mercy – Hear our prayer
Lord, you teach us and love us and in return you look for fruit from us, such as love, justice, generosity and obedience.
Our stewardship means using the many gifts that you have given us to enhance your kingdom by touching others with our daily lives in your name.
Lord, so often we fall by the wayside and, rather than do for others, only think of ourselves.
To be truly fruitful we need to follow you Lord, make us better servants every day of our lives.
Lord in thy mercy- Hear our prayer.
Lord with mercy on a world where greed of gain deprives many of their rights… guide those in authority to govern by the true values of your Kingdom. We pray for all those in our world in authority and our government.
We pray for our Royal family that they follow in your footprints as they go about their daily lives.
We pray for peace throughout our troubled world that light may shine in the darkness.
Lord in thy Mercy – hear our prayer.
As we celebrate harvest with all the good gifts that God has sent us, make us mindful and thankful for our farmers, fishermen, gardeners, transporters and processing plants.
We pray for those that go hungry in areas of famine and need, not forgetting our poverty and hunger of so many on our home shores. We pray for all those who work in foodbanks and agencies to get food to all who need it.
As we share our Harvest lunch today let us cast a thought to those who will be hungry.
Lord in thy Mercy --- Hear our pray
We ask Lord that you look with love upon those that are elderly and frail, those who feel unwell, those who struggle with disabilities, seen and unseen and ask that you will care for them all. We remember in our prayers Nathan and his family and any known to us personally.
Lord in thy Mercy- hear our prayer
We pray for the many that mourn at this time. We pray for the souls of all those that have died in faith praying especially for Josh and his grieving family.
May thy rest in peace and rise in Glory
All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above.
We thank the Lord, O thank the Lord for all his love.
Merciful Lord, accept these prayers for the sake of thy dear son Jesus Christ our Lord.
